HCP Stage X Ecotec Cylinder Head

The HCP Stage X Ecotec Cylinder Head is designed for naturally aspirated and competition Ecotec combinations where increased compression, improved combustion efficiency, and cylinder-head airflow all work together.

Stage X features an HCP-developed 52cc reduced and reshaped combustion chamber. The revised chamber increases compression while maintaining compatibility with both dome and pent-roof piston designs, giving engine builders more flexibility when putting together higher-compression combinations. no more excessive decking, offering better piston to valve clearance.

 When paired with a piston normally rated at 12.5:1 with the factory chamber, the Stage X 52cc chamber can increase the resulting compression ratio to approximately 13.5:1, depending on the exact engine combination.

Note: Final compression ratio will vary based on piston configuration, piston-to-deck height, bore, stroke, head gasket bore/thickness, and actual chamber volume. Piston-to-valve and piston-to-head clearance must be verified during assembly.

Core Options

Customer Supplied Core: Customer is responsible for providing a usable, rebuildable cylinder head core. All customer-supplied cores are subject to inspection. Cracked, damaged, heavily corroded, previously over-machined, or otherwise unusable cores may require additional charges or replacement.

HCP Supplied Core: HCP will provide a suitable cylinder head core for an additional $500.
